Welcome to Bay Leaf, Indian Restaurant and Bar, where the rich traditions of Indian cuisine come alive in every dish. Nestled in the heart of Peoria, IL, our restaurant is a celebration of the vibrant flavors, aromatic spices, and recipes that have been created by our Chefs using the freshest of ingredients and certified halal meats.

We have over 30 parking spaces available across the street, diagonally opposite (in front of the Peoria Riverfront Museum) our building. Look for the sign that says "MAXAM Building Parking."

Food was amazing. I did a month in India (Bangalore & Hyderabad) last year for work, and this food is amazingly very similar. I recommend the Chettinad Curry, Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65, and Parrata bread.

Absolutely delicious food! I got the mango lassi, garlic naan, and butter chicken. It was so good. My husband got the salmon tandoor and the ocean breeze drink. The salmon was delicious as well. The salmon didn’t come with rice so definitely get some rice from someone else’s plate or order a side of rice if you want it.

Awesome food with large portions. Great atmosphere with caring servers who are willing to help you with any questions you may have about the food. It was my first time trying Indian food, but Bay Leaf made sure it won't be my last!

There are so many great dishes at this restaurant! 🤗 I'm a big fan of samosas, so I tried the Samosa Chat - it was amazing! 🤩 Definitely ordered some extra stuff to take home. The dining layout is really cool, and the service was excellent. Even if you're new to Indian food, they'll walk you through their menu to ensure you find something you'd like. The Salmon Tandoor was my favorite. 🌟 If you haven't had Indian food in a while, this is the place to go - they have a diverse menu of Indian favorites; just try not to order too many dishes at once. 🤭

Had an excellent experience dining out here! The food was great and the service was also great! Brad did a great job explaining the menu to us and also giving us suggestions on the favorites! I tried the butter chicken and the garlic naan and they both were excellent! I would highly recommend anyone wanting to try something new, or someone that already loves eating Indian food to come here and enjoy what they have to offer! The atmosphere was just right! Not to noisy which was a plus! All the staff was very friendly! I will definitely be coming here again in the near future!
